Treatment keratosis pilaris

Dry skin More than 40% of adults and 60-80% of the young aadolescents suffer from keratosis pilaris. Keratosis pilaris is often seen in people with dry skin. Most of the time the condition disappears by itself when you get older. Several treatments can be performed in reducing or treating Keratosis pilaris.

Treatment Various treatments and the use of different products offer a solution for keratosis pilaris. It is very important to restore the skin barrier, because this prevents blockages as much as possible.

By using products with, for example, salicylic acid or vitamin A acid (such as retinol), you will get a smoother skin. These substances have an exfoliating effect, which also prevents new inflammations.

We recommend IPL and/or peeling treatments to improve the skin condition and to drastically decrease redness from inflammations.
